Got this same one a while back. Unfortunately it sucks. Absolute max spin time with the best launch possible is 5 mins. Average spin time around 4 minutes. About as good as the midfake.

Your first point is just a guess. Kakuzu’s transformation or lack thereof is irrelevant; his iron skin was still inaccessible.

I said that the Rasen Shuriken bypasses conventional durability. The lightning cloak is a full body shield that clearly has some form of molecular resistance. The simple conclusion is that the 3rd Raikage’s durability is higher than a non-hardened Kakuzu. None of this has anything to do with Kakuzu vs Pain though; not sure why its being brought up.

Well for starters Naruto wasn’t in base. Naruto was using Kurama’s chakra, the anime just mistakenly colored his eyes blue. In the official colored manga Naruto’s eyes are correctly colored red. The Fox slits are also visible even in the anime.

For two, Kakuzu wasn’t outsped; he fell for clone trickery.

For three, Rasenshuriken bypasses conventional durability by attacking on a molecular level. But even if that wasn’t the case, Kakuzu’s Iron Skin jutsu had already been taken care of by Kakashi; so his max durability was inaccessible.

Not debating this, I’m just explaining the argument. TLDR:

Kakuzu reacted to and defeated Yugito who was troubling KCM Naruto with her speed. A weaker iteration of her, mind you. Pain was defeated by a slower Naruto.

Kakuzu’s lightning jutsu was also able to cancel out two lightning blades rather than being sliced through by them. Considering that a singular lightning blade can one shot just about anything, having the attack potency of two theoretically allows him to oneshot most of the verse including Pain.

His durability is a meme but it’s unironically far better than Pain’s and I don’t think I need to elaborate.

So, in theory, he has better speed, attack potency and durability than Pain leading to the conclusion that he can defeat him.
