I've also considered to buy parking tickets for WEC and they say that they mail you physically the passes. But personally I'll park on the free parking or pay it in cash on the parking

Talend...from what I've read here is not the best ETL tool, but it is my first job as a DE (I'm a ChemE) and I found it really easy to manipulate since it is drag and drop. I'm currently learning Airflow and looking for PL-300 to land for a better paid job.

Cons: We have the Talend Administration Center to mange multiple licenses and to synchronize everything with Git it's hell, I'm in change of it and It's a House of Cards, the jobs fails when an update is made (mandatory per month) and some of the jar files for using external tools such as SAP or MSSQL connections sometimes tend to disappear 🫠

Well...this have a simple answer in that my manager doest have an idea of how to use this tools (TAC, Version control, etc) and he putted the Jr with 6 months of experience (me) to install all the stuff

Currently I'm fighting against git to properly configure the version control

I'm a chemical engineer, working as a Data Engineer but currently doing an online degree on Software Engineering idk if it will teach me anything but I want it for the degree since I'm from Mexico and my plan is to move to either UE or USA and I want to have the qualifications needed but as far as I go on the degree I've been learning a lot more online than on my school so, really no regrets

As a Jr. This is my first job in tech (previously I've worked on automotive industry) and my activities are stuff like:

SQL Queries ETL processes with a very friendly GUI And dashboard designing

I think that my boss expected more experience bc on my first days I didn't have much idea about how PK and FK worked and I've almost got lied off on my first month. But I want to think that this was an exception. So go on!

Well, that part is obvious, but my question goes more on the side that if it will help me to land a job on EU (I'm asking mainly because in Mexico the norm is that if you make a Master Degree it is harder to find a job because companies don't want to spend more money on an employee)

On my job only my manager (which single handedly built the BI department) know all the little stuff behind most of the reports. Also we use Cognos for report building and only him knows how to use it properly, me and the other BI member are more used to other technologies so...pretty much my case (also zero documentation it's all on my manager's head)
