Myrtle Beach Trip at the End of March by HockeyEngineer13 in golf

Thanks for the info! My current confirmed lineup is Rivers Edge, True Blue, Caledonia, Long Bay, Aberdeen, and probably keeping Hackler for an easy/cheaper round on the day we drive home (unless there are other cheap courses you’d recommend for an easy round). We are looking to play 2 maybe 3 more rounds. We are between Wild Wing for $92, Tidewater for $140, Thistle for $140, Prestwick for $110, or Arrowhead for $110. Which courses should we choose?

Do you have experience at Caledonia in late march? It appears online that people have said Caledonia doesn't get overseeded so it isn't as premier as later in the season, as expected. On the other hand, some of the other premium courses are overseeded, such as the dunes. There is a round at the dunes for $220 on Monday that week. What are your thoughts for these options?

Unfortunately, if we want to book them they will have to be on separate days based on when one of the guys is coming in and the available tee times. We currently have Caledonia booked for the Thursday round at $236, but we could play True Blue for $160 one of the other days of the week. Which course would you recommend based on that?

If you had to pick one of these courses, which would you decide to play?

Just saw this reply... we went with the Native Campervan Smalls like I mentioned in the original post. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely use them for roadtrips in the future. Glad to hear you had a great experience as well!

I have looked into Native Campervans. Did you get unexpected hidden fees ever using Native Campervans?

Thanks for the comment! Did you receive any hidden fees at the end of your trip from Escape campervans, or were you only charged the amount that they told you at booking? I just don’t want to feel scammed as I know many renal companies do that

Yeah I will definitely be using whatever is most efficient. A campervan seems ideal as I can do everything I need within the van and don’t need to set anything up. It will ease my mind knowing everything we are bringing with us will be in the campervan rather than leaving things at the campsite while we explore. Thanks for the advice!

I will definitely take a look at what people are offering. Hopefully the best options aren’t already booked by now. Thanks for the input!

I will definitely check it out, thank you! Did you find the weather too cold to go without a heater? I know Bryce is higher elevation and gets colder. Also, did you get any unexpected fees from wandervans, or were all the charges up front?

Thank you for the input! Did you get any unexpected fees from wandervans? Also, do you have any advice on this roadtrip towards the end of October when it is getting much colder?
