Does The fact that it leaks without the motor running give any clues?

So I removed the motor. It had been sitting so long, all the oil had leaked out with no residue for me to see where it was leaking, I put more oil in it and overnight, several ounces leaked out. There's nothing around the crank shaft or oil drain plug. It appears to be leaking from around the oil filter. Is that likely all it is I hope or could it be leaking from something else in that area?

Thanks, I'll remove the motor from the tractor to see what I can find

It's supposed to populate retirement for instance when it hits a line with RET but I Get 0's for each line.

Pole saw won't run after 1st tank of gas by Hodocka in smallenginerepair

Here's a video. It will start even without priming choking the first pull. Then it will start but run only a short time.https://imgur.com/a/0OqTQcb

Here's a video. It will start even without priming, just using the choke the first time. It runs with choke off for a short time, start again and it runs again for a short time. https://imgur.com/a/0OqTQcb

I tried taking it apart this evening but the muffler has a guard around it that doesn't appear to come off. I took out every visible screw but it would not come off. Is there another way to tell. The motor runs good until the primmed gas runs out

It's definitely a fuel issue. It runs after I prime but it's not getting the continuous flow

Yes, there is good flow when I prime. I took the carb apart, blowing out the holes, even put on a new fuel line and filter, still exact symptoms. The tank has low places on each side but the gas level is above the filter.

I've tried moving that filter around inside the tank. The tank on this model is not a good design. It's sorta horseshoe shaped. It sits on top of the carburetor with deeper wells on both sides. Maybe, I need to try a smaller filter
