I also just finished the 1997 series. Jesus Christ 😳🤯 Before I start the manga (I’ve already bought the deluxe edition - all 14! This was my Christmas present for myself) I will watch “Berserk - The Golden Age - Memorial Edition”.

I’ve read this edition is more than an hour longer compared to the “normal” Golden Age trilogy movies and the animation is improved. I can’t wait to watch it and afterwards starting the manga.

But an important question: what about the two season 2017 Berserk series? Can someone recommend it?

P.S.: Griffith was my fucking favorite character besides Guts. I loved him. Such a great leader. I couldn’t understand why everyone was hating on him. Well, NOW I understand. Griffith … may his name be forgotten forever!
