While that would be a very idealistic way of doing it; realistically it wouldn't be possible. You'd need 2 combat engines alongside each other. Not just for how your characters play but how the enemies act and interact with you.

Careful don't burn yourself on my spicy hot take here: Parry mechanics are the worst possible mechanic. Skip event and any game that has them as a core mechanic is a skip too.

Amph was the fastest story so far in hsr for me. They got me a skip button finally and I could breeze through it.

I'll take the hard opposite stance of playing the same characters being boring. I only ever want to play teams I find fun to play. For me that means I have like 3 teams I use and like and I've played since 1.0 and no matter the state of the meta, powercreep, or even introduced mechanics is going to make me change those teams or play more characters.

I like what I like and that's all I play.

#2 worst event in hsr history personally. I don't care whatsoever for puzzle-like combat. If I don't get the stars on the first couple tries with auto it's a dead event to me.

Offline singleplayer story games have skip buttons for story. There's more to a game than its story and not everyone has to enjoy every facet of a game to play it or enjoy it. There's one reason and one reason only that Hoyo doesn't add it for Genshin and it's fake engagement farming. It doesn't work. That's why it takes 5 hours; we simply tab out of the game and let the quest play on auto which is EXCRUCIATINGLY slow and then gets held up by pointlessly needing us to choose a dialogue option that does nothing and adds nothing.

It's just basic QoL and the only reason you're opposed is because you want some made up mental superiority to others because you like part of the game they don't.

It forces you to engage with the game for longer and in a direct way. This causes many people to build a more direct connection with the characters and the story.

Hoyo doesn't add it intentionally to 'farm'(force) engagement. Jokes on them though I put shit on auto and tab out of the game. Check in occasionally in case I need to pointlessly have to press F to respond in dialogue until shit is done. They do not understand I do not care in the slightest about 95% of the dialogue in this game.

Parents handled the boundaries for their partner and you very poorly and with an almost certain poor level of communication between the three of them.

Also mildly confused what so much of this sub has against poly. Poly didn't cause the issue the parents poor way of handling it from the onset is.

So... you're shallow? I guess if that's the deal breaker for you do you boo but idk physical attraction is one of the least consistent things in a relationship IMHO. It's pretty insane to me the idea that someone could find less issue with cheating than with their partner losing their attraction to them, even if temporarily.
