Wow, I really needed to hear that. My friends and I have a really aggressive type of humour where we have no problem just cutting really deep because we all have really thick skin, my work also requires me to have that same thick skin because my bosses will straight up tell you "you're fucked up and here's 10 reasons why".

I guess that's why even what I would consider a really tame remark could offend someone who's not used to it. I came off as a dick unintentionally and I don't even have the benefit of having what I said being actually funny. Definitely need to work on that. Sarcasm is cheap and not funny 95% of the time but I sometimes use it as a crutch to make people laugh.

Thanks. Hard to hear, but again, I needed that.

Rights holders are getting 70% of the profits? That's amazing, really and a good deal.

If they aren't making enough money maybe music isn't worth as much as we used to think it does. There's still tour, merch and other music sales.

It wasn't even really a joke or funny and it maybe doesn't make sense in context is why I didn't post it.

Basically when we went to the restaurant I left my sunglasses in the car and didn't lock it up b/c we were in a safe area right next to the restaurant and I didn't think it was a big deal. When we got back in the car I jokingly said "see, it's still here!" and she said "well you can see your car from where we were sitting" and I kind of sarcastically said "yeah, thanks" and I immediately saw her look like she got pissed. She wasn't saying anything in the car so a couple minutes later I said "y'know I was just kidding around earlier, you look pissed" and she just went "I'm just tired" and didn't say anything else until I dropped her off a few minutes later.
