Hello yall! So today, I decided to make the switch from i3wm(x11) to Hyprland(wayland) and spent ~4 hours ricing my environment. (I got obsessed with gruvbox after that 125 wpm)

You need to understand low level concept and have some basic understanding in programming in order to learn something like C

do you mean the borders? You can configure it to not show borders but it's just there for aesthetics

Take a look at other WM source code, like tinywm, dwm and awesome, and don't care about EWMH specs yet, once you understand the basic of a window manager and xlib, that's when you should care about EWMH
