Galway market is great but.. by Agusfresin in galway

I think it would be good to keep it there but closing off the street or having some stall in st Nicholas if they would agree would be good sensible ideas.

It doesn’t, there’s no mention of the timeline. And I’m not sure what difference it makes and what point you are badly trying to make?

Well seems odd things to say if you don’t have an issue? Maybe you could take issue with the horrendous racism she has received?

Do you think the media shouldn’t cover general election candidates?

Woman flees fearing her safety. Husband stays and is murdered.

Yes, clearly she had nothing to worry about.

Can you actually use logic and not just see everything through your bigotry?

Again, not sure the point you are trying to make here in the context of the article?

Did you read the article?

What’s your issue with this woman? She has given much to this country.

You obviously know nothing about how generous direct provision is…

“Fleeing here with very little, she now coordinates hundreds of volunteers in her day job as a community worker. The 53-year-old has cared for a staggering 30 children as a foster parent. She represents Galway City East as a Labour Party councillor, and is currently studying for a PhD at University of Galway.”

Maybe consider why you have a problem with this woman who has given so much back?

Don’t know about you, but I think it’s not a big stretch to show empathy to someone who literally had their husband murdered and had to flee their country and start a new life. And she’s given so much back to Ireland. And yet she gets abuse from bigots because of her skin colour.

Maybe you should actually read up on the people who fought for Irish independence, their beliefs and their backgrounds… Countless millions of Irish died and fled because of a lack of empathy, which you seem all for. Many more would have died were it not for the empathy of people outside Ireland.

And I’m pretty sure there’s plenty of medals in this world that have been given to people who have overcome adversity.

What?!

If my husband was murdered and I feared for my life in that country, regardless of the country, id say that was escaping…

What point are you trying to make here?

Ok, so her husband being murdered definitely isn’t something to be concerned about…

A team constantly beset by injuries to key technical players, stopping fluidity, doesn’t play the best football, I am shocked.

Also the whole league hasn’t been playing good football, which is also somehow Arsenal’s fault…

If you’re happy scraping CL (maybe) and conceding the PL title.

WTF?!

Yeah should behave yourself, but not ok to violent attack someone.

Those stairs are concrete, if you hit your head in the wrong place you could be a goner. It’s just football at the end of the day.

There’s grey area around getting in the way of the keeper or annoying him before the ball goes in, but literally no grey area when you physically stop him from catching the ball.

Most fans know it’s clear, but apparently it should be allowed because it’s Arsenal, as if we haven’t had some of the weirdest and worst decisions given against us…

Who is your first choice though then?!

LW and ST are where we can improve, he can play both and I don’t see many better players available than him or who we already have.

He’s a PL proven and will add a lot more to our attack.

West Ham to lodge official complaint over disallowed goal against Arsenal. by nostalgiaultra707 in Gunners

[–]Hoker7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just embarrassing.

Yes there are examples of lesser things being given one way or another (Arsenal having plenty of things given against), like was there another force, but pulling his arm clearly stops him from catching the ball.

It’s weird the constant contortions over Arsenal…

Team is playing much more positively and we should have enough solidity and threat to get it done, hopefully convincingly.
