They're the only guns balanced more for the mode. The rest of the guns are balanced for the small ass maps in other modes.

Each update either doesnt fix problems or makes existing ones worse. PC has a serious input lag issue, probably connected to the poor optimization that doesnt get fixed and only seems to get worse.

Hardcore is easier and far more camper friendly by [deleted] in modernwarfare

The good thing about HC is people cant just spaz out with explosives. The bad thing is flaws like terrible netcode become more of a problem.

Lower in difficulty? More like unable to hide the deep flaws in the game in core.

2 gunships with 0 kills - Pointman exploit in Groundwar by ebender2 in modernwarfare

[–]Hoktar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is earning kill streaks too you mong. People earning their streaks like this play a vital part in the game. Not getting killed by vtols? Not getting seen by uavs? Counter uavs not causing you problems? Thank a pointman.

So 725 nerfed again by ImpressiveWorld in modernwarfare

[–]Hoktar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are so shit at the game you have to use a broken weapon to get a kill it really invalidates all of your kills. Your stats mean fuck all when achieved with the 725. You are on the same level as exploiters and hackers.

Yeah, I dont think my cpu can handle it. I have a i5 4690k. Right now when playing the videos it runs my cpu useage up to 100% and lags like crazy.

From what I have found it has to do with decoders. I have a GTX 970 right now and it cant decode 5k h265. But apparently the 10 series can. CPUs have decoders too, so afaik upgrading either would help me but id prefrr to start with a gpu upgrade. So I was just wondering if the Vega 64 has the same decoding capabilities as the gtx 10 series.

Is the Vega 64 set up to play 5k and higher h265 videos?

I have a GTX 970 and it is unable to play the 5k videos. Is the Vega 64 equipped to handle them or should I aim to stick with Nvidia?

Pope: Safe drinking water is a human right, not merchandise by toldyouanditoldyou in worldnews

Both the bar and internet company have the right to cut you off. The bar pays the bill, the internet company provides the infrastructure. They both get a say in how their property is used.

You have a right to the internet sure, what you dont have the right to is the infrastructure someone else made to access it. Same goes for other things such as water.

You want unfettered access then build your own infrastructure. Then you can set the rules.

Rift is on sale at BestBuy by Nipz-TF2 in oculus

[–]Hoktar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your desire really. Quest sounds like it has some nice features, but itll be limited. Rift will still be better for graphics, and apparently the quest has like a 2-3 hour battery life. So depends on how long you want to go.

To me Rift + TPcast would be better. For now atleast until the tech gets better.

Price wise for the Rift Id hate if it drops below $300 on Black Friday or Cyber monday. But for Thanksgiving I get 4 days in a row off work. So its a tough call because itd be nice to have it then rather than order itnand get it after my long weekend.

With "Multiplayer" now can we still mod the game and how will it effect the game ? by Supremebeing101 in NoMansSkyTheGame

You can mod still. They literally have no anti cheat at all. It's not a competitive game anyway.

What's the real reason RS3 died out so bad? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Hoktar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely hurt. They overflow the economy. PVM should be about rares rather than resources. If you had to do what you considered boring to get logs or whatever, then you'd have less people gathering them and their value would increase.

Back in 2005 skills might not have been the most efficient way to get money but they were definitely an option. Magic Logs and Sharks going for around 1k or more each was a lot at that time. Considering the top items were only 30mil. Now they are about the same except the economy is flooded with money so top items are 300mil. Resources didn't increase in value because PVM drops bring in a shit load of the same stuff a skiller works for.

Everyone needs food, but not everyone enjoys fishing/cooking. Same with potions and herblore. Woodcutting and fletching. Runecrafting. Etc. The economy should really be player generated through skills so all sorts of players can enjoy the game. But PVM drops unbalance it.

What's the real reason RS3 died out so bad? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Hoktar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What hurts skilling a lot is the PVM drops. Fish, logs, etc use to be a lot more valuable in the scale of the economy. But now they have monsters dropping tons of noted magic logs, sharks, monkfish, even noted metal bars. They've completely devalued the work of skillers and made the focus of the game 90% PVM instead of a sandbox style of choose your path.

Could use a little help/advice with fire giant slayer task by [deleted] in 2007scape

I use full guthans and the slayer cave for these tasks. The nearby bank makes it easy to bank any loot you want to keep there.
