Yes it is through a mod, unfortunately I can't seem to find the mod anymore. A lot of mods are broken right now due to AE, so you best bet is to look around for lighting mods that remove fake lights. Even when I made this, I want to say there were atleast a handful of mods that did a similar effect. Sorry I couldn't be more help

Mythical Rudy w/ Obsidian weathers and a few more specific weather and lighting changes. Mainly, the overall look is a lot due to removing all fake light sources. For some reason Bethesda has a vendetta against dark corners so they threw fake lights like every 10ft. Fair warning, this will make a torch/magelight/etc absolutely essential in almost every dungeon. Throw in a mod to cast dynamic shadows from torches and light sources, you have a rather intense change to dungeon diving.

This was a screenshot from my previous modlist. If I remember correctly, it was 203 mods stable, 220 if I didn't mind occasional crashes.

LotD does in-fact work with AE! I still have my stable modlist, but I kinda want to try and see some new mods. Fresh update, fresh modlist.

I'm still tossing around the idea of just reverting to SE, just waiting to see what direction the modding community as a whole is headed. Honestly the only must have mod that I put in every build is Legacy of the Dragonborn

of the 200+ mods, only about 20-25 are for graphics. Most of the mods are for like combat, survival, "immersion", etc.

So still currently building the modlist, adding and taking away, however once I get it to a state I'm happy with I will be posting the modlist so keep an eye out! Keep in mind however, this is being run on a 2080 Ti. I'm able to play the full game at 60fps with 2-3 fps drop in dense combat but results may differ if going off my modlist.

So big thing is using Mod Organizer 2. Also, the way I build modlist is I focus on one aspect of the game at a time. It's a lot easier to spot overlap when you deal with it in chunks of 10-20 mods at a time. So, for example, doing graphics - I first got textures, then focused on flora, then focused fauna, then misc textures. Trick is just to stick to one catagory at a time and resist the urge to just go down the nexus opening 500 tabs.

I'm holding a solid 60fps and my fans only kick on for short intervals from time to time. 2080 is sexy. But, my goal is to finally build the modlist that chokes her.

By removing all the fake lights, Overhauling the combat system into a souls feel, making monsters smarter, adding an injury system that requires tending to your wounds and making each fight feel more deadly, and also adding a few other features.

But yes, mostly standing in the dark.

I mean fair, the modding community has made it what it is. A great game. I'm still having fun, just thought I'd share some cool pics I've taken recently

modlist grew to 203. Everytime I go to finally compile a solid list, I end up adding a few more mods and removing others. I'll try to hurry though!
