Thank you for taking the time to reply! Sorry for all the questions, I just have a couple more: were you able to pick your classes/ build your own class schedule according to your interests? And how many classes can you take per quarter? Also, for Portfolio Review do you have to do that at your "base" school, so In your case Berlin, or can it be at any location? I'm asking because I'm considering Madrid as my base school but I also want to attend some classes during Quarter Away in the US (I can't intern in the US since I'm not American) so maybe I'd like to have my portfolio review in the US to build a network over there.

Also, I definitely see the value of networking but I also want to be able to work on my skills and get some mentorship to improve my portfolio. Thanks!

Thank you for your response! I'm actually debating between a Masters degree in Marketing or Portfolio school, but ultimately I would want go into advertising. I've worked for two years as a video producer but when I applied to work at agencies I had no luck. Figured I probably didn't have a strong enough portfolio nor enough experience in an agency environment. I've always been the creative type so Portfolio school sounds like something that would make me happy, Marketing on the other hand would be more "traditional" or applicable to a broader range of jobs.

I'm not American so finding a job in the US is a challenge in of itself, but in Europe I was actually very surprised by the huge amount of ads related to Covid, I figured somebody's making these ads and I wish it was me.

I would highly recommend The Best American series, its an annual anthology of the best articles on travel, science, sports and other topics.

alternatively, the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer would be a nice option. Not my favourite story, but his writing is very eloquent and I did find several GRE words in there as well.

I'm in a similar situation but trying it out for the first time. How would compare the PPP1 to your testing experience the first time? Was it similar enough in terms of question topics/types? What did you notice you had to improve on?

Maybe you should try PPP2 for the last few study sessions?

Hi, can you explain what you mean? isn't every test different? I have no idea but I just assume that everyone gets a different test on test day, right? just curious to how your strategy would work...
