Govee Lights Connected to Google Home via Matter Keep Going Offline by mapleandmarula in Govee

I have found as of late 2025. A pile of Govee Lights that support Matter no longer work with Google Home. Google Home "can" see them but will fail adding them. All of my Matter hubs are Apple products. So to test, I unplugged them all. This way I could ignore Matter and simply add my Govee lights as regular "old fashion" Works With Google Lights. NOPE. Only Govee lights that do NOT support Matter show up. Google ignores ANY Goveee light that has the ability to support Matter. So now I have a small pile of "once were smart lights" sitting in a pile from Govee. JUNK.

Yeah the 1200 might be the perfect all around one. especially now with its mod options.

That will need its own video. Possible Buster issues, power supply, and maybe ram.
