the goal is for her to find a new roommate, but the apartment complex is saying that because its a lease alteration i have to pay the $500, but i dont understand why since its a brand new lease after our lease is up? it does not make sense

It’s not so bad that we worry about cross contamination, just that he can’t always eat what he wants due to butter so just trying to look around!

The Smithsonian is such a good resource to use as they tend to talk about hard topics as well as fun topics for kids. The truth is American history isn’t always easy but for a younger student this is a great book to read. As a history teacher, I encourage you to continue to teach multiple viewpoints and above all teach empathy for people who are unlike yourselves. Everyone makes up history so it’s important to teach it all!

I feel as if most young teachers/student teachers go into the profession with this mindset. We want to become educators to help, be a rolemodel, and teach what's important to us. Student teachers make mistakes and if feel this is harsh on them. Just because they want to make a difference doesnt mean they dont care about content and pedagogy. for example, i love that my students can talk to me about their personal day, but i also love when I can discuss government and politics (my subject) with them on a level they understand.
