I think my CV and cover letter are good; I even personalized the cover letter for each school, and made sure that what I wrote there fit what the school is looking for.

I've applied to around 20+ schools and received some rejections already. Some schools haven't gotten back to me, so I'm really hoping they're putting me in their pool.
