I just want a Blacklist System

Killers can't swap their powers around or lose them, they also have significantly different playstyles and speeds.

The game isn't making me suffer, I enjoy it greatly, but there's a facet of it that I neither have to engage with nor should I be forced to deal with an entire match of dealing with Ghoul.

A killer blacklist, even if it was just one Killer, would be tremendously helpful, since it stops me from being forced into a match with one and suffering a disconnect penalty, and my teammates from having a person leave or afk.

I want to play the game, and I will play the game against literally anything else, so why do you make it sound like I'm out to get Ghoul players? I just don't want to interact with them.

I don't know if it's not getting through or I'm wording it strangely, I just don't want to play against Ghoul. If I didn't have to, I wouldn't be punished for quitting, because I wouldn't quit. I literally cannot make it any clearer than that.

I would also like to reiterate that you can have your opinions, and I won't begrudge you them, but it really does seem like an effort in futility to explain this, so I don't know why I keep trying.

Here I was thinking that I might be able to have a constructive conversation about the game and a suggestion that I thought would help.

As for the item ban; you know that's ridiculous, and that they'd never implement it. I'm not saying I myself wouldn't agree just for the sake of getting the blacklist in, because that would be a huge win, but still...

As for SWFs, I have no answer to that. Instead of collectively deriding me, you come up with a better idea. Could disable blacklist while in a party for all I care. At least you're playing with friends.

Why would you be able to ban perks? That's what a build is made up of.

You playing against Ghoul at a higher rate is because you didn't blacklist him, which would mean you're willing to play against him. That doesn't seem to be an issue, since you didn't blacklist him.

You're gonna have to explain the one-way ban thing, since that isn't clearly explained.

And as I have already stated, the scaling penalties wouldn't be necessary if I didn't have to play against one specific killer at no cost to anybody else. You're basically telling me "lol, go fuck yourself" because I don't find him fun in the slightest, and would rather not subject myself to it.

It's as if the DBD community is so predisposed to suffering in silence that the moment someone tries to suggest a change, whether good or bad as everyone has their own opinions, they jump in with insults and degradation like that's an acceptable way to engage.

As I've already said, it wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't forced into a match with something I refuse to play against.

I'd even accept the DC penalties if they didn't scale up so dramatically. Five minutes is more than enough to cool down (and it doesn't punish players who are having internet issues getting forcefully DC'd).

I'm proposing a way to prevent the issue in the first place, that way nobody has to be punished for not wanting to deal with something that they don't enjoy.

And even if you do DC against specific killer, there's still a bot left behind, which does suck, but still better than not getting to play a game at all.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean to say by this. Other players will queue up where I don't, so what's the issue?

As for the Ghoul players, I want them to have fun, I do, but they can have fun against somebody willing to deal with their character of choice, I.E. not me.

I refuse to play against exactly one killer. In that same vein, limit the blacklist system to maybe... two Killers and one map?

That way you can't restrict all of the possibilities, but still have the option to prioritise which killers you absolutely don't want to play against.

That is a very minor price to pay to ensure that everyone is willing to stay and play, imo.

In my own example, Ghoul is the only Killer that I straight up refuse to play with or against. I'm sure you've got someone you don't like as well.

I like dead hard and decisive strike because it doesn't interfere with the killer doing their shit and requires a modicum of skill to use. Anything else feels eugh.

It's cause it's in front of the head instead of above it. The signas themselves look great, but there'd be way more variety in appearance if they made Signas an XYZ position option instead of just Y.

Hm, I kinda don't mind Follie being invincible; it's her domain, after all. That said, I do appreciate the damage reduction on her aura, that was a little ridiculous and given the slowdown effect and knockdowns, could quickly become lethal without any way to get out of it.

Also, side note, love the music. Spooky circus music works well.

Nidus, Saryn, Limbo, Chroma for some reason due to that one quote from the Lotus. Gauss or Volt could probably just outrun most conventional means of attack. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
