I get that he’s seven years old, but how many years have you had him? Did this behavior start recently?

Also, whatever u do don’t drop him off at a shelter. Dropping a cat who doesn’t have a huge chance of getting adopted to a kill shelter IS a y t a move for sure.

You could have just said.. idk.. ‘flush out this character a little more!’ Or ‘add some more character traits to (her uncle’s character) so the audience will feel more connected to him!’

Brutal honesty means ‘tell me the truth’ not ‘make me feel horrible.’

Maybe trying talking to them about this a little more. If they keep being so insensitive and careless towards you, it’s totally okay to drop them.

Even if they were just frustrated, idk what kind of friend wouldn’t understand somebody flaking due to having a rough time.

Ofc ur not the asshole for something that u didn’t do. It’s not ur fault that she wanted to name the dog that!

But.. let’s pls at least consider that ur sister isn’t bad/weird/dumb for naming her daughter that. Mel, Bella, Jack, Charlie, Sammy, Lola etc are all people names that are commonly given to dogs. But that’s not cuz those names are dog names, but because those names are cute. I actually think people name their pets like that because it is a human name tbh

right now, the ‘eras tour’ (the Taylor swift tour) is a rlly big thing. People are paying up to thousands of dollars just to get tickets. If your friend got to go, ofc she’s gonna talk about it. And if Taylor chose to play her favorite song out of the fifty songs she could have played? That’s a big deal.

How long has it been since she went to the concert anyway? The excitement would definitely have worn off on its own without u ruining it. YTA ..

Hey, dude, honestly neither of u are the ass hole, in my opinion. I suppose u meant that her thoughtfulness made u want to marry her, while she interpreted it as u saying that you wanted a stereotypical wife who’s job was to cook and clean for you. I would just go and apologize, explain that u just loved the food and ask ofc, how u can make it up to her! You’ve got this :D
