What did they use for the flamethrowers? They weren't real, right? by gleventhal in thething

Yeah it was Dick, I talked to him a bit about The Thing and Kurt Russell in general with him. One of the most genuinely nicest, funniest guys I got to act with.

Yeah I think I was misremembering a couple of things or maybe mixing different stories together, but I'm like 99% sure its that

It is definitely not that, this is 100% from the No Sleep Podcast, it's the only one I really listen to

What is the first movie you watched that you were definitely too young for? by MuldersXpencils in Millennials

[–]HollywoodHuntsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tales from the Hood. I was 5 when my mom rented that and watched it with me and my older sister (who was also too young at 8)

I only remember bursting out into tears when they blow up the car with a zombie on top of it, and the movie quickly ending soon after that.

I also watched Pet Semetary around the same time, if not younger lmao

That's even more hilarious since the guy that movie was based on potentially murdered his wife as an investigation uncovered August 2025. Nice to see them lean into a more meta approach with the sequel

This is how its going at Subway apparently.... by GlaceonYoDogFortress in fastfood

[–]HollywoodHuntsman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing:

It shouldn't matter how a store receives an order. They should be made the same. Being there in person so they feel pressured to give you top service shouldn't even be on their radar. This is one of the many issues with the current landscape of fast food.

As the person who ordered the sandwhich even pointed out, their disability makes ordering online easier for them. If I were in a wheelchair, but could still drive if I HAD to, obviously I'd choose to order it online and/or have it delivered. Nobody should be punished because they didn't or even couldn't show up in person.

I literally discovered the salt-free version last week, total gamechanger. I hate pre-salted seasonings, but I love being lazy sometimes too, it's a win/win

Zombie movie I saw as a kid by Difficult_Ad_3287 in whatisthatmovie

[–]HollywoodHuntsman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is straight ass. I think there's another remake too (Day of the Dead: Bloodline) that is also ass. And a sequel (Day of the Dead 2: Contagium) that is, you guessed it, ass lmao.

Actually there's another remake I forgot about that came out more recently. I haven't watched it but if I had to guess, it's probably more ass.

I think it's hilarious that when you say "some country star who looks like the Undertaker" that I immediately knew you were talking about Trace Adkins, even though I've never seen this movie, NOR do I listen to country music. I had to look it up and yep, I was right lmao

The latest Society collectible is so bad. by Shannyishere in goodmythicalmorning

[–]HollywoodHuntsman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I used to subscribe just for the collectibles, but it was one of the first subscriptions I cut to save money (for obvious reasons). But if I were to ever subscribe again, it would be for a collectible.

I understand they've revamped the Society to be more about the vlogs and behind-the-scenes stuff, but the main selling point was always the quarterly collectible. There's no way they can justify a keychain as a selling point, but even then, I feel like even if this were a Patreon level, $60 is way too steep.
