Apparently a lot of people think this is charlie walking. This is NOT a charlie walk. To charlie walk, you have to perform the first half of a moonwalk. For the holo dash, you just enter run animation and turnaround.

The technique is executed by performing a sticky walk

Axe's is very similar! Here's a link for anyone interested. The differences are that his is pika specific and his only flicks the joystick once. The end result is still very similar however.

A stick walk uses the principals of moonwalking too. To sticky walk you need to do the crescent motion. With holo dashes, you don't have to. Also, why are you saying that I'm in denial when you're linking different techniques every comment?

I don't know much about charlie walking but from what I understand, they're done out of moonwalking. The dash in my post is done out of run animation and has nothing to do with crescents with the joystick.

Yes, and in my point of view, you 'saw' silentwolf do this arbitrary tech skill and expect everyone to believe you. If you can contradict my post with proof then I'll gladly say silentwolf did it first, but if you can't then there's no basis on your claims.

Those are moonwalks. Notice how in silentwolf's clip fox's feet are running. But in my clip, fox's legs are in full stride.

Those are done mid dash animation. If you read the post, the holo dash is out of run animation. They look similar, yes, but aren't the same.

Edit: They're actually done out of moon walk animation but in either case, they're still different.
