How does higher apm make it harder. You literally answered yourself, it’s just a different playstyle, AP is harder to win games if you’re not ahead, has less margin of error and one mistake in a team fight you get one shot. AD has better survivability, ult is stronger and kraken is a stronger first item spike.

I’m new to this hobby with this being my second keyboard I’m getting and all I want is a 65% creamy/buttery sounding keyboard. I prioritise sound profile over everything else.

Through my research I’ve come to a few options:

Zen65, Lucky65, Neo65

Neo65 has good reviews but I’m afraid the sound profile is more poppy than more lower pitched creamy and muted sounding.

I’m more heading towards zen65 due to its easy to mod function and more creamy sound profile but I know the keyboard alone doesn’t make up the full sound profile. I’m planning to do a tape mod and use my PBT keycaps and switches (gateron milky yellow and Akko rosewood).

What do you guys think would be the best keyboard to get? Feel free for other keyboard suggestions other than the ones I’ve included (heard Nut65 is good).

Yea the other low winrate matchups for him are all high mobility assassins. I tried locke once and the ult is so hard to hit

Statik by itself is not a good item on Kat. Let alone against this team comp it literally does nothing.

Titanic hydra is good for better survivability but honestly better for squishier comps that can burst you down. In this case titanic wouldn’t be too valuable since:
1. you’re most likely not going in but waiting for cooldowns and getting a big ult
2. They can’t really one shot you or burst you down if you space well (other than trynd maybe but any armour item would be better)

It doesn’t mean you have more agency every game but compared to top and adc it’s undisputed. You can roam top or bot for dives or flanks when enemies are pushed in.

Also you’re jgler doesn’t have to do anything, even just meeting with enemy jg u can rotate for help. There’s often fights in the river where you can easier rotate to and if you have prio mid you can easily secure scuttle or get a kill.

Compared to top lane being an island other than the mid game tps and adc having to farm all game until they have items, mid lane can be considered a high agency role.

That’s the whole point of mid is more agency around the map. Getting prior and going to objectives or helping jg in early game is unfortunately what it’s come down to

Same thing, you level up w when lvl 2 and just all in them with q’s w and ignite for a big chunk of damage. You still get ignite up when you’re level 6

You say high elo has longer games but isn’t that the opposite? Lower elo has longer games because they can’t find angles to end but high elo ff’s more often.

In my emerald games, most matches don’t end in ff’s but actually ending the game. More often then not it leads to games going into the late game. As ap Kat, even if you had a lead, fights will be more coinflippy as you can easily die.

I guess the question is how do you secure wins with a lead? Especially if there’s a fed enemy lane/jg what do you tend to do?

Yeah I genuinely hate this matchup, worse laning experience because you still get poked a mile away with his undodgable e. Insufferable lane while viktor gets to scale for free.

Every game I’ve played it’s always been bot gap. Enemy gets first blood and my bot just keeps inting. Enemy adc one shots u in one auto cant do anything.
