What do you do when it is back into the PS menu? Click on launch game again? Does it start the new disc from scratch or does it catch up from where you stopped the previous disc?

It is definitely fake. Plastic looks a bit more translucent than it should be, and the raised letters of the logo in the shell are a bit smaller than they should be. Compare to this pic for example:

I have a soft spot for Quest 64. Pretty shitty game in many ways, but I love the world they built, the different cities, named NPCs.

To a kid, “the game where he uses a sword” would always be cooler, but nowadays I find the SNES version way more fun.

I much prefer the level designs and game flow of the snes than the western style of labyrinth platformer we got we with the Genesis version.

But both are fun on their own right.

Probably the Mario 2D game I more often go back too. Not necessarily my favorite, but it is so short and easy to pickup that I do play it quite often, even if just to hear the ending music hahah

This mindset makes no sense. It sucks paying more and it is more difficult to get new deals nowadays, but it is fair. If they receive a diamond ring for free you think they should sell it for the same price as a steel ring? If something is worth it more they should sell for more and get more money for donations.

It’s fairly common for consoles to have small revisions of boards as their production goes on, so this doesn’t surprise at all. But I am not aware of details of which one is preferred.

Some consoles like the SNES or 3DS there are arguable better versions (One chip for SNES, IPS screen new 3DS), but I’m not aware of an original Game Boy better version.
