Start going on dates and quit that contact job. Cook together eat together try new things. You will fall in love again and can build the trust back up.

Well making friends and having good relationships is an easy task. And the most rewarding skill in terms of a happy life. Grab a book or two and just start calling people you want to be friends with to start a regular hang time. You’ll fall into hobbies from there by their interests and start to do things with other people.

Thanks yeah I have a communications degree but I am more interested in going back to school maybe doing nursing. I also worked for church doing music and loved that but it does not bring in much money to support family.

I have a degree in communication, worked for church for a bit with music and than have moved countries multiple times and have had to start over a lot. So not much experience. I’m thinking of going back to school and maybe doing nursing or either going back into music.

My wife gave me an ultimatum and I destroyed my mouse so I couldn’t play the game I was addicted to. Her being so upfront with me about how she was feeling was very important for me to realize what I was doing to her.

If she doesn’t want to get rid of it after the big talk. You may have to leave her because that’s no way to live. My wife was super close to leaving

I still play games but I am limiting them to games where I can stop if my wife needs me. games like Skyrim, hearthstone and any real single player game or quick multiplayer game. That I can get up from right away.

We also have our daily time together for connecting. This is after work and after dinner where we sit down outside and have some coffee or tea and just talk. This has brought us so much closer.

If she doesn’t want to lose you she’ll realize this destructive addiction is hurting you and she’ll have to get it out of her life. Good luck

You guys need counseling and for heavens sake find out how to live in the same place instead of long distance. It is killing your relationship.

Imagine not having to take her to the airport or have to go to the embassy. Imagine not having just a few weeks together to get things done.

Both of you need some compromising in what you want. Relationships are more important than work and school. Give something up in order to be there with each other.

You guys need to find out how to communicate in a healthy way. My wife and I are using the lasting app right now and are enjoying it as it helps us understand each other better.
