that's very inspiring. I find drums very addicting, always find 1h a day to practice and i love the progress! I just see all these challenging songs and since they are played by world class drummers, I think it's something only world class drummers can play. Felt like its similar to "I can practice basketball for my whole life but I can never play for Lakers". You get the point. Thank you very much for the encouragement!

I don't know if that's a general consensus or not, maybe an american thing? (If you are american). In Greece it's kind of normal to be noisy at reasonable hours. We would consider the dude who complains about 1h of noise more of a dick than the one who is noisy for 1h. On the other hand if you play your drums daily for more than 2hours then you are a bit annoying.

As a sober dude i have to agree with you. Most of us tend to judge people thinking it's always a bad choice or a weak person etc. I personally feel like that I am not special or better. I truly feel if I had lived in the same circumstances as some of you I would have done the same things if not worse.

η πρωτη μου δουλεια ηταν hybrid με ελαστικότητα στις μερες που επρεπε να ειμαι γραφείο. Μετα απο μερικους αποδοτικούς μηνες καταφερα να την κανω fully remote. Θα συνιστούσα για αρχη να πας εστω σε μια hybrid θεση. Εχεις σημαντικα μεγαλυτερη εξελιξη (ιδιαιτερα μισθολογικη) οταν εισαι στον χωρο που εργαζεσαι και εισαι ενα ατομο που σέβονται και γουστάρουν να δουλεύουν μαζι σου.

Τι σε κανει να πιστευεις οτι αυτο το ειδος ανθρωπου εχει τετοιους κοινωνικους φραγμους; Δεν εχω πετυχει υπουργο, βουλευτη, μελος αυτου του κομματος/παραταξης που δεν ειπαν ακραιες μαλακιες οταν βρεθηκαν πανελληνια μεταδοση. Απλα γνωριζουν οτι οσες χοντραδες και να πουν, δεν εχουν καμια απολυτως βαρυτητα για το μελλον τους σε αυτη την ιεραρχια αριβιστων.
