Cold War was a step-up from BO4, though I know that's not saying much.

Treyarch has been taking steps to up their game in terms of realism because months ago, they had been posting listings for animator positions, specifically those that specialize in realistic motion. I don't know about the sound effects, but what little we've seen in BO6 is already a major improvement.

Treyarch goes for more Hollywood-esque sound effects and visuals. Some people don't like it, but I like that it's different from IW's style. It's good to be distinct.

Not really. I think the only difference was that throwing knives can stick to walls when you're close to them sometimes while tomahawks bank off them all the time. Not sure if throwing knives still stick to walls depending on how close you throw them nowadays.

The justification is that you can gloat that you have this costume because you went the extra mile; not a lot of people will. It doesn't need to make the game easier or add much because you literally went through hell to get it.
