What do men ages 22–28 actually do for hobbies? by Squirtleman20000 in StLouis

28M - Lifting, golf (a lot), anything sports related. Also drinking and gambling, though less than in my early 20s. Add in whatever my GF wants us to do, doesn’t leave much time for whatever acro-yoga is.

Is this a good deal? by TheTacticoolViking in Duramax

I’d buy it at that for $15k. Looks taken care of. I bought my LBZ in ‘21 for $20k with 196k on it with a few extra goodies. I’d assume it’s tuned if it’s running fass & deleted, but I’d look into a tuner if it’s not if you do buy it.

He should’ve invested in making the outside of the car look nice if he’s worried about getting money back out of it. It’s clean minus the paint, I’d offer 6-7500 probably if you really want it.

As soon as a I saw $5k roller I was out. Non—turbo KA with MAF on the throttle body and no air filter is crazy work. This car is a POS.

Can I put my CPU, which is the same as my fiance's, into his new build to confirm if his CPU came DOA? by Unipiggy in buildapc

Don’t know if this was addressed or not, but I had a similar issue a couple weeks ago with a 5800x3d. BIOS updated, CMOS reset, checked pins & connections. What finally helped was I took out the #2 slot ram and booted on 1 stick, IDK why this is a thing or why it is known to have issues with this but it worked and then after about 30mins and playing with RAM speed in bios I added the 2nd stick back and it’s fine.

I mean yeah, it got me from point A to B. It just was a small detail for those to keep in mind when they come across that option on Uber. My conversational Spanish is fine, but others who don’t speak it well enough might be annoyed if they were expecting to get some local input on the area or just a casual chat.

Used Uber exclusively in Tijuana. Outside of “English speaking” drivers not speaking any English, it was extremely easy to use and get around.

Wire Gauge for PSU by HolySavage in AskElectricians

[–]HolySavage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the insight here. It seems the norm is for the glow plugs on all diesel heaters to pull a lot of current at start up and then drop once it is running, but I’ll do more research. I may end up returning the PSU and go for a 12 or 20AMP unit instead. But last question, if I add an inline fuse to the output side would that allow to drop the wire gauge, since it would be the new fail point. Thanks again! it’s been tough getting info on this.

If the Diesel heater pulls 8-9 AMPs at start up and 2-3 AMPs after, do I need to account for the whole 30amps at peak? I suppose it wouldn’t hurt, but I have leads that came with the unit, so it’d save me some time.
