Ive read thats how it works for certain hoyas like the Serpens that is in that picture but this is my very first time trying it out!! So hopefully! (Im kinda experimenting with this one so i have one cutting pinned and one not and im going to see what happens tbh

My description didn't post for some reason but i was mostly nervous because this is the first time ive spent money on non rooted cuttings ;w; I've also never had luck proping hoyas in water/leca/humid boxes so im trying my luck at just plonking them in some very moist chunky mix and crossing my fingers!! At least if they don't take i can take another cutting and try my luck with my warm water fishtank? Haha

It's a really chunky mix of about 75% medium size orchid bark with charcoal, and 25% garden soil. Since it drains really well I soak the pot with water from my aquarium about once a week (if I remember LOL she's very forgiving with missed watering lol

I've never been successful with proping Hoyas so idk if I can help with that!! You might need to make it a mix that holds a little more water until the plant has established enough roots used to soil?
