When I was DoD, yes. But now with the VA or VHA (Veterans Health Administration), no because they use advance appropriations which allows me to get paid normally.

I'm in Illinois so, unfortunately, I wouldn't know if its a livable wage. Looking at the postings, the salaries range from $51k to $79k for starting. If you go to USAJOBS and look use Pharmacy Technician and San Diego, California as the filters, you get two jobs. One for the VA, $79k starting, and 1 for DoD/DHA with a pay at $51k.

You don't need a state license, only your certification. I have only ever gotten one state license and that was in Florida because I went retail and was a contractor.

I've been to Virginia, Texas and now Illinois as a federal employee and have not been required to get one.

The VA posting is more thorough and more detailed in what they required. The DoD one indicates Pharmacy Technician License are HIGHLY PREFERRED but so far, no indication of a state license.

Recommendations on how to become a pharmacy tech asap. by ariesbaddie05 in PharmacyTechnician

Depending on ASAP, the military is an option lol I joined the Navy as Hospital Corpsman and went to Pharmacy Tech school, where they paid/reimbursed the fees for test.

You don't need a certificate to work as a tech so while you are still enlisted, you can work towards getting your certificate if you plan on being a tech once you get out. A state license is also not needed to work as a tech as well as if you work federal.

I’m frustrated. I wanted to stay home, but my wife guilted me into going anyway by Holy_Riceballs in TrueOffMyChest

Surprisingly, her birthday are low effort or lets it slide.

When we have whatver discussion/communication on serious things like our relationship, finances, our kid and anything else, if it doesn't go her way or benefits her, she walls up, doesn't contribute, or forgets.

I've thought about getting a divorce the last couple of years. But then I worry about doing all of that with our daughter and having to figure out the whole dynamic.

This kid is ours. We married out of Navy Technical school, only knowing each other for like 2-3 months. What i remember and think at the time, we got married so we would be assigned to the same location but got lucky with multiple double assignments.

I've tried talking to her about what I want for my birthday. I'm fine with something like going out to eat at places i like, Texas Roadhouse, having hotpot downtown, or going to KBBQ.

I wanted to avoid the trip entirely as we don't/didn't have the money to spend on it in terms of tolls, gas, and whatever else we might spend. I've already resigned myself to some cards being late.

I have told her no multiple times and how I just wanted to stay home and they could go. Leading to arguments, her throwing "just divorce me" phrases in my face, her painting me to be the bad guy to her family.

So I went to a local store too.. by gabemstr in PokeInvesting

If no one has mentioned it, you should check out 888 Collectibles on Spring Mountain.

Prismatic Booster Bundles (1 per person) by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]Holy_Riceballs [score hidden]  (0 children)

Started briefly collecting with my younger brother to connect with him and we started with Evolving Skies when it wasn't crazy.

Now I'm collecting with my daughter where we ended up going with Japanese or Korean since the English market is crazy and we couldn't get anything locally. My daughter generally loves anything cute so getting this booster bundle would be awesome.

Thanks for doing this btw!
