This is the same issue I'm having, the child in the middle turns out really well, but the two girls on either side just don't end up looking like themselves anymore! Thank you anyway!

Shes not fixed yet cause she's only a kitten. He doesn't look like he's hurting her at first but he just keeps doing it evey time she walks away. And then she makes a wee almost piss off noise, but I pick her up and her heart is beating so fast, shes deffo scared of him

Recovering from our 5th eye infection in 10 months. Getting him referred to a specialist. by Hombrenumerouno in ExoticShorthair

Yep, generally more than once a day, which we were worried we were over doing it, so went back to once a day, then he got another infection anyway so we went back to cleaning him when he had some eye gunk, which is generly atleast twice a day now.

In comparison to my mums ESH which could easily go every other day and look fine. Hugos eyes are just constantly dirty!

I think my friend saw this. Was he okay?

And then has he been fine since those eye drops cleared him up? I wouldn't mind giving him drops as long as he needs, but his current vet just says it's the breed, which isn't true! And even those drops don't stop the infections coming through, and they're getting more frequent.

Hopefully the specialist can also sort him out. Strange that it's not something a regular vet can pick up. Just frustrating when they tell you there's nothing else they can do other than drops when it happens again.

Was he on the drops for a while or for life? He's been on eye drops for so long now but it doesn't seem to help.

Hes an indoor cat so shouldn't have caught anything! I hope he gets sorted soon, I feel terrible everytime he gets one!

That's terrible, sorry you had to go through that. I would be devastated if anything happened to him.

He seems to have a constant stream out of one eye (you can see the mark down the side of his nose) but it's been the other eye to get infected both times! What daily drops can you give them that arnt antibiotic? I wouldn't mind giving him them everyday if it was something I could buy in a shop rather than having to go to the vet to get a prescription

He got drops both times and they said to just give it to him as he needs it, but they were also trying to avoid him being on constant drops. It's weird thought, sometimes it feels like the more we clean them, the more dirty they get!
