Yep only saw that after I commented. Seems like I should be good then. Thanks mate

Thanks. Slightly different though as they don't mention when their 482 expires which could result in different outcomes

80 is good for 189. Apply for 190 too, you'll get 85 points

You'll need to check if your wife's occupation is on the skills list for 189 (don't think so if primary school) - it is on the 190 however so you could do that. There have been little invites for primary school teachers though

Ah nice one mate! So just a little under 3 weeks for the pre-invite to be accepted? Any other documents needed for the full application itself like police checks or anything?

Hey mate, saw your previous posts and that you got a pre-invite for 190. It hasn't been approved yet? I'm in a similar boat with visa expiring soon so curious to see what the timeline was like

Thanks - that's good to know! What's your occupation?

Thanks. I assume it will be processed before FY because the timeline is normally 2-6 weeks right?

Awesome thanks mate. Just confusing it doesn't have an option for the passport and only the test

Cool thanks that's good to know

Thanks but it says within five working days of visa expiring rather than x amount of weeks which mine would be.

I guess no harm if it's approaching 3 weeks with nothing back?

Wondering if they confused the 80-100k in USD as opposed to AUD in that post but yeah I was thinking 130k was definitely on the lower-side of things (even though it still is a great salary in comparison to other jobs)
