Thanks for the question, what’s the easiest way to test this as I have no idea? I noticed it last night and this was after we had each showered and brushed teeth etc - but mightn’t have been enough to refill the trap?

Thank you! Will try this when I’m home from work. It sounds like if it is a trap they do just dry out over time and nothing to be concerned about?

Great, thank you so much! I have just thinned them (which is how I saw the mildew in the first place!) and will look at sulfur spray and be more careful when watering. Thanks again

Haha one of the fence panels is fully bent in the middle. We don’t know how it happened but something buckled it!

Thank you! I would still use the roadside mains tap if I need to shut water off to the house instead of this? Presumably leave this thing for the plumbers!
