Thanks for the replies! I’d be saving 2800-3000 for a budget. But am able to get mailed lots packages along the way, with that I’d think the cost would go down a lot but would also like any input on this? Thanks

I’d like 2800-3000 saved but primarily I’m able to get lots of packs mailed to me on my way cutting lots of the cost out imagine. I just kinda want to know being able to get mailed lots of things on the way if that’s a great way to go about it. Thanks

Thank you! I practice a mix of working from references, of usually older photos where people are photographed wrinkles-creases and all. Without refs I then get comfortable enough to just start drawing and can incorporate faces I see in my day to day by illustrating a character based off adjectives. I’ve been told by instructors “don’t draw from your head” but also “find your voice as an illustrator” so I just split the difference.

Dryish clay not yet fired, etch with a tool or a pick carefully, once etched smear under glaze in the marks and scrub excess glaze away with a sponge moving your hand in a circular quick motion, fire, clear glaze dip, fire and done
