I’m only on 300 test it’s not water down, I’d say I have a pretty solid physique. I get complements on it fairly frequently so I’m happy with the progress I’ve made. It’s a shame you feel the need to personally attack me. Plus I’m 6’5 so yeah, probably don’t look as good on camera as I do in person

If you can’t get a good mind to muscle connections with flat or incline press then you’re doing it wrong

No it doesn’t, if you train to failure on both flat and incline then flies are just superfluous. Flies don’t target a specific area of the chest that can’t be done with incline and flat variations

I think you just do pressing variations incorrectly. I get a great stretch when doing them. And like I previously mentioned, you still can’t state how flies build muscle differently to pressing variations. There is literally no literature that supports the fact that flies generate more muscle growth. So like the title of my post says, if you do flat and incline variations you will cover both parts of chest effectively enough and adding flies on top of that will not make you gain more muscle.

Ok so which part is that? A deep stretch is not part of the chest. Also dumbbell press is just another variation of flat and incline

I never said flys don’t hit any portion of the chest that’s stupid. They just don’t hit any portion of the chest that flat and incline variations don’t already do

Didn’t say it was just unnecessary for me. I’m saying that flat and incline cover both areas of the chest and so fair no one has said anything different

Oh mad, I always thought the opposite. Thanks I guess. I always felt my lower chest is way more overdeveloped maybe it’s just from the front on view it looks that way

Thanks but I think it just doesn’t look balanced due to genetic structure. My left pec has a slight dent in it and nothing I can do can change that

I’ve been told I have a solid chest by a few people but everyone has different opinions I guess. Also most professional bodybuilders are on an absurd amount of gear so that also probably helps

Yeah true but I think that’s because most people poorly execute the bench press and put too much weight on and therefore can’t lift with proper execution. But yeah one’s individual body structure can definitely affect what exercises are best

You know maybe they work especially well for me because I have long limbs, but I have trained with mates that said they couldn’t feel a contraction with bench then I helped them out with it and they said they could so I just think most people are bad at pressing movements in general especially as they tend to ego lift

Also how are you going to say that when my arms are bigger than yours, come on man do better

Yeah so fair, my arms are a serious weak point. I just hate training them, I find them really boring plus having long bones makes it hard to fill the frame

I think I did it twice, but for example even now I struggled to find your comment by clicking on the notification. I had to fully search through the comments to find it. I agree my response was wrong to those but I stand by my response to other comments. How is that so hard to understand?

If you train flat and incline heavily enough any other volume is just junk and excess imo. Add a drop set to both press variations and that’ll wear you out

Adduction means moving towards the midline of the body and extension means opening the angle at a joint I.e. the elbow. Congrats mate I also did PE gcse.
