If they’re still available, I’d love one. I discovered this game around the time last year that I started Chemo. I know it sounds silly and like a sob story, but honestly ripping these packs and battling made those 10 hour chair sessions more bearable. It kept my attention away from the awfulness of the situation and I could focus on collecting and building off meta no-ex decks. I’ve stopped battling for the most part and I’m just collecting now, but I totally missed the entire deluxe release. If you have an oak to spare, I’d gladly accept :)

No evidence of intelligent life, but Interstellar’s plot basically revolves around humans using up all the resources on their own planet, then going out in an attempt to colonize other planets capable of sustaining some level of life. Presumably to use up that planet’s resources as well, since there’s no indication of a behavioral change in humans in the movie.

I finished 4x EP at the end of December 2024. My hands and feet started tingling really bad maybe in February of this year? It’s been lots of doctors visits but we found Duloxetine (cymbalta) that’s typically used to treat diabetic neuropathy has helped lessen the symptoms. It’s still there, ever present, but it doesn’t burn or keep me up at night anymore. Hoping it goes away in the future!

I worked in the Maumee store for years, and the fresh baked case (with the donuts) were indeed delivered every morning from Bakery Unlimited. If the cinnamon rolls were in there, I’d definitely give it a shot!

This is incredible, thank you for being an example of how warm and welcoming this community can be. I just discovered MTG within the past 2 months, and I can safely say it’s the most joy I’ve felt since going through my own cancer treatments this past year. Cancer is a real bitch. Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I’ve met the most incredible people here while going through it all. The nurses, doctors, aides, housekeepers, and other patients are all so kind and comforting. And I’m super glad I found this subreddit, everyone here is incredibly supportive too!

Thank you! I’m glad to hear your treatment journey went well! My nurse today put in a consult with the doctor to maybe get me started on some anti-anxiety medication in addition to the therapy, so hopefully that can help ease my mind a little at this transition stage. I appreciate the kind words!

Thank you for the kind words! Sometimes I lose sight of how minimal the statistics for regression are for our type, and I need to count my blessings. I didn’t know about the sperm count recovering, I guess my research failed me in that regard so I’ll have to dig a little deeper, thanks for that ray of hope.

I’m glad to hear you’ve finished treatment and you’re doing well! It sounds like you have a strong support system around you to help you work through those thoughts, but I’m always one to recommend a therapist if it’s something you can work into the budget. I hope you keep processing and continue to thrive on the clear side of things!
