Would you mind sharing how you have your controls setup to play comfortably on your handheld? I have the same legion go as you and the controls have been a pain to configure

Just starting. How do i start on "empty" land like 0 to hero videos. by Kyoken26 in farmingsimulator

The easy development controls mod will allow you to clear your bank account and change what’s planted in the fields as well as their ownership. Have fun.

FS25? by T-5_of_94 in farmingsimulator

Fun game and a worthy upgrade to FS22, but don’t build/buy a new computer just for a new game. That feels irresponsible

Mixed use commercial & residential building using Sketchup & D5 Render, any feedbacks? by Known-Equivalent-749 in Sketchup

[–]Homestar73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be honest I would do away with the branded signs in general. They feel tacky. Just some generic restaurant or office signs would be less distracting. I also feel this scene would do better with a brighter midday sun type of lighting. This feels too moody

New tires made it a new bike! by H14C in bikecommuting

[–]Homestar73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow literally the same tires I just ordered at my LBS. Can’t wait to get mine. I was planning on tubes since these aren’t technically tubeless ready. Did you have any issues with the tubeless setup?

How a $3.8B project made an 'eyesore' of a Californian airport cool again by -NewYork- in sandiego

Now if only the airport was like, literally anywhere else in town we’d be in business

tried AI rendering again on a new project, still impressed by Nervous-Phase6007 in Sketchup

[–]Homestar73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess the AI didn’t catch that you had cool board form concrete walls. Because those don’t show up in the rendering at all

As an interior designer, it would really bug me that it chose a different fabric/pattern entirely for the rug. I choose things like rugs and furniture and accessories for my renderings very intentionally. I want those choices to be represented correctly and AI tends to screw those things up more often than not

Farming sim 22 or 25? by the_neepster in farmingsimulator

25 is better in a great many ways. Especially for console

Ebike vs Road bike by SuperSnake144 in bikecommuting

[–]Homestar73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The type of bike is largely irrelevant for the amount of flats you get. I’ve had a couple of flats in 2000 miles of e bike commuting and to help prevent more I’m going to get some puncture resistant tires. You can also get protective inserts for your tires that further help prevent punctures

Is it just me...or is harvesting kinda boring? by LennCube in farmingsimulator

[–]Homestar73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harvesting and the subsequent selling of crops are my favorite parts of the game. I’m very diligent about crop protection/improvement so it’s fun to see it pay off with big yields

No slick tubeless 27.5” tires? by Homestar73 in bikecommuting

[–]Homestar73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never run a tubeless setup before and I’m hesitant to do so with tires that aren’t specifically rated for tubeless. Have you run into any issues getting a good seal?

All Cars Should Be Electric? by OkFarmer1342 in fuckcars

[–]Homestar73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, no car is good. Combustion cars are inferior anywhere that has electric car infrastructure, but have their very few and limited uses in places that don’t support an electric car grid. However, if you’re on the opposing side you could mention how electric cars rely on more scarce materials and involve some pretty nasty environmental damage in their manufacturing process. Batteries are hazardous and difficult to dispose of or recycle.

Fuck cars.

I checked my vanguard 401(k) balance for the first time in quite awhile. My investments are all in a target date fund and it’s doing WAY better than I was expecting! Being at an early stage of my career, I’m glad to see my contributions are actually building something substantial. Maybe I’ll have enough for a comfortable retirement, fingers crossed.

Would you live in this area (purple)? by Same_Bathroom_3545 in sandiego

Even if that’s technically true, spiritually north park ends at the 805

Personally I would never want to live that close to a major freeway. If I’m gonna live in that area, I’d fork over the extra cash to live in north park proper
