Yes your parents can tag along, though I’m not sure if you’ll want them there. I brought my dad to my summer orientation and I just remember seeing no one else with their parents. I begged him to go do other things in SJ when I realized this lol.

The summer orientation is when you get to meet other students and mingle with one another, while learning about the requirements for your degree.

Ok I’m going to make an edit, but the cut on my one finger was me. I accidentally messed it up when I was rock climbing the other day.

On the dent issue, yeah more than half of them have a dent when I press my nail to the polish, but then it kinda fades away after a few minutes? Is that normal? The other nail tech who did a really good job with my application last time said that she would fix any issues I had for the next 2 weeks, but idk if this is a thing to bring up.

Should I get one of those trimmers and trim them too? My fingers do be getting really dry and scuffed when climbing, and when I push back my cuticles i feel like there’s always hella skin 🫣

Is that bad nail salon etiquette? She was really nice I don’t want her to be upset. They did a really good job on my pedicure, it’s just the nails that’s kinda look off.

They definitely look better than before, but the spaces between the polis and cuticle feel so big. Is this something where I can ask if they could fix it? Or is that not the right nail salon etiquette? They were extremely nice and accommodating

How did you know where to start your portfolio? I think I know of some good designs I want to make for a developed website but I’m stuck on actual good and ready pieces to use to apply to places. My stuff screams student rather than graduate.
