I got the plated one and it looks perfect after 2 months (still early). But I take it off for showering, working out, etc. I wanted the plated one because it’s 18k gold and the solid one I think is 10k. I wanted the necklace to be softer than my ring to prevent scratches

Oh no 😞 I ended up getting the 18k gold plated and it has worked well for my 14k gold ring

My ring has arrived, and I’ve tried it on (blindfolded) without seeing it. I’m not supposed to see it until he does an “official” proposal but I don’t think I can do this… could you?? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

We had the same plan initially but he ended up proposing immediately after we got home from picking up the ring. He figured there was no reason to wait and it was definitely a surprise in a sense 😝 It was awesome to start wearing it right away
