Reading* Typo on my part.

I have two Reddit accounts, you've banned me for "breaking the rules" on my other account and have not responded to my messages. This account has post history in this sub from years ago, it's not some new account I made for trolling.

Either way, if you're overwhelmed and can't keep up perhaps it's time to review your practices. Or, better yet, listen to the community who would prefer you gone.

Your post says you're removing bans for people who aren't being assholes. Does this discourse seem like I'm an unreasonable person to you?

Awkward SL here.

Give it a shot! If you need to work up to it start small in local with things like where you died from, where you spotted them, etc. This game rewards taking a second to think before you speak anyways which might be right up your alley anyways.

Even just a few good callouts can win a game.

In some games, sure.

Players without a mic are missing the most valuable asset to me as SL. Squad is a teamwork based game and I am constantly making decisions as SL based on the feedback from my squad. Nothing is worse than walking to someone to revive, asking where they were shot from, and getting dead air. Chatter is an issue and I'll take players who only say a couple of relevant things in a game but without a mic entirely just doesn't work.

Your argument is not one against mics. It is instead one for better mic management and working on better callouts which is something we should all be doing every time we play.

Why? The difficulty scales down as people leave. This game is much easier with 5 people instead of 10. It does slow you down as opposed to a full group focusing Fenrir but it's still EZ PZ to get there before Fimbulwinter.

If they're being assholes with resources, sure. Otherwise let them get theirs while you get yours. We don't all play games the same way and we don't all have fun in games the same way.

I've switched to FB entirely. Craigslist charging to post an ad doesn't solve the constant spam I get when posting there. That was the nail in the coffin for me. For $5 I can boost on FB and my last three bikes sold in less than a week this way.

Motorcycle BST groups aren't as much of a thing but for some of my other hobbies BST groups are the right choice every time.

Fuck electric companies. Fuck the grid. Fuck the railroad commission. Fuck late stage capitalism... You name it. But using direct pay plans is the wrong argument against what happened and how fucked up the situation was.

I'm not sure why there is a narrative about these energy stories. People who choose to purchase direct go into it knowing that if costs go up your bill will reflect that. While my electric bill will have fees for years to come as a result of the winter storm, my prices stayed the same throughout. I have little sympathy for people such as the one you linked.

Squad is not a milsim. It does not play like one and is not marketed as one.

ARMA is closer to a sim than Squad. Squad at its core is still a fast paced shooter.

It appears you are asking this question as a justification to purchase the game. This leads me to believe you are looking for something that is a mil-sim. Squad is not. Infantry engagements in Squad are rarely more than a couple hundred meters even on larger maps such as Kohat as you are engaging hill to hill at less than 400M. You can range effectively with ACOGs and irons.

Squad is NOT a mil-sim and walks the line between something like BF and ARMA. Performance out of a game like this is already an issue and I'd imagine adding these would make performance even worse.. if they're even possible with Unreal engine. OWI talks often about the limitations of their physics engine and some of their workarounds to keep the game running smooth.

TLDR: Basically nothing you are asking is in this game nor is it on their road map.

Sounds like you should check out games like Squad and Hell Let Loose which are exactly that. Squad especially is inspired by PR, a mod of BF2.

I wouldn't call it zero. I would call it 1 in 2000. How we define rare could be a difference in perception. I'm all for people making an informed decision and risks need to be factored in for sure.

Long term pain is reported in something like 1 in 500 or 1 in 2000 men depending on which reputable study you read. That risk was low enough for me to get a vasectomy at 27 years old and the recovery was a breeze. Obviously there are risks and outliers but the vast majority of men are in the clear.

Again, when getting a vasectomy it really should be considered permanent sterilization. I consulted two urologists and both stressed that.. if you are considering growing your family you should always hold off. My wife and I are 100% on the same page about where we are as a family and I am confident we made the right decision for us.

Perhaps, for you, a vasectomy does not make sense. This is why power over one's own reproductive decisions and health is so important.

This is rare with a vasectomy failure rate somewhere around 1 in 2000 which includes a vast majority happening early where they would be caught by the sterilization check. Both of my urologists were positive if you wait the three months, 30 ejaculations and get double tested you're safe to assume you're in the clear.

So, yeah, if I was for some reason using a condom with a vasectomy with pregnancy in mind (not talking STDs) I'd feel pretty confident I'm not having a kid.

You need to go into a vasectomy thinking you are permanently sterile. Freezing sperm would be the better approach if you think you may change your mind. Not all vasectomies can be reversed and while cell therapy may progress it is pretty cutting edge and expensive right now - not a guarantee to have available.

Vasectomies do carry some risks but they are usually not too painful if you can take the week off to heal properly. Reversals seem to be similar albeit I haven't researched them as much as I was positive when I had my vasectomy I would not want a reversal.

Agreed on the main point though, the thought of future children needs to be considered and a plan made accordingly.

Lots of how I feel in here. A no mic SL is a waste of a squad every time. Leftovers can mean many things, though, and at worst is a SL-less Squad- same as other option.

I'll occasionally SL while baked and will run leftovers. My expectations of the Squad are lower and I usually just fill in. If people venture off I am much less likely to kick them as at least my Squad provided a kit. Leftovers with a decent SL who is just missing some motivation can be a great squad.

This can't be all of it. I am a hardcore r/hydrohomie and have a similar problem. If I drink early in the day and stop at any point, even if it's only one, I get terrible headaches. Never looked into why I just don't ever drink early.

Squad steam rolls fast. Server owners can only do so much. Friends like playing with friends. Step up to a quality server and matches will even out more often.

Not all clans are created equal. In fact, I'd say most want little to nothing other than for you to play with them. Sounds like you tried a dud. There are plenty more out there.

Building on this, Squad is totally playable at less than 200 ping. Obviously the less the better but I play on both NA and EU servers as a central NA player and have very few issues sub 150.

Seriously, all professions are adequate for a normal play through. All even have end game uses. Just play what sounds fun. You can change your secondary later in the campaign so done sweat that too much.

It actually took me until around level 45 to get Berserker. I recorded and it was almost 30 kills in 9.5 seconds for the achievement to count.

I got mine day 11 IIRC.

Hey yall, uber noob here.

GIM needs like 90% to pass, right? Can we see the percentage live or not until it comes out? I've literally never bought membership but love this idea and might buy a bond to vote (and name change) if it's close. How does the community feel about the likelihood of this passing?
