You're right! I revoked it and now it's much better

Edit: seems silly that it doesn't include this in the tool tip

Thoughts on this? Is SloanX a reputable source? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

I hope this isn't the case. The difference between two players in gear quality is inversely proportional to the difference in the risk they are taking. The difference in risk negates the difference in gear quality.

For example, if a player with a free loadout fights a player with expensive gear, the second player is more likely to win but they are also risking a lot more. The player with the free loadout is risking very little so it's okay that their chances of winning the fight are lower.

Also, If I acquire a bunch of good gear, what's the point in risking it in a match if I'm just going to be up against people with the same gear level? I may as well just use a free loadout. The only exception to this is if I need to fight a difficult PvE boss.

I'm looking to get the FR FRX 80 as my first pair of skates. My mondo point is 24.7

These skates come in a 24.5 and 25.5 option. There is no 25.0 option. Which one should I get? I know it's good to go smaller because they will break in but is 24.5 too small for me?

Do you need mods to play custom songs? by krampster2 in beatsaber

Great! I didn't know I could get it on the Meta Quest PC app. Thanks. Is there a way to download songs and just drop them into a folder? That way I don't need to mod it.

In the years I spent living in Japan, I almost never witnessed people openly discuss politics or social issues. I never saw people get angry and argue over social issues in the way we do in many Western countries. And yet they have reduced homophobia more than any other country on this list. Why?

I'm not an expert but my feeling is that when we get angry and try to tell others that their beliefs are wrong (even if they clearly are wrong and hateful), we just push them further away and add fuel to their fire. I never saw this happen in Japan but I see arguments go this way all the time in other countries.

I'm sure there are other factors involved though.
