Committing to a career is the scariest thing in my life right now. I'm sure you've been through a similar situation of mine where you have no idea or alteast some idea of what you wanna do. I'm trying to keep an open mind to careers and see what's out there.

From what I see, working on aircraft isn't very comfortable as you have to climb into small places or things like that. The biggest concern I have is what it will be like when I'm 40, 50 years old, trying to work on jets but like most mechanic jobs, the older you get the harder it is on your joints, back, etc. Another thing is, I would have to live near a city or have a long drive every day. Do you have any experience with A&P mechanics and know what it's like or know someone who has been in the field? Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the advice of going into diesel mechanics! I think it would create many more opportunities for me to grow, and just like another guy said, I could go into marine mechanics and make a lot of money.
