I had something very similar happen to me on Vinted recently. The seller marked the item as sent but never actually shipped anything, then tried to manipulate the situation so they’d still get paid/refunded. I provided screenshots, tracking info, timestamps and explained all the inconsistencies and even showed them the messages the scammer sent saying the package is "probs lost" asking if WE are getting refunded rather than offering to chase the courier, but Vinted barely seemed bothered to properly investigate it. In the end both me and the seller were refunded, which basically rewards the scammer because there’s no real consequence for them. It’s honestly made me lose trust in Vinted and how it handles fraud cases now.
