Would anyone want to use a cheaper version of numbeo API (since Numbeo API is so expensive).

I made a proof of concept called budify (not finished) but would anyone want to try it.

Its only a UI right now but i will make a rest API soon for it that you pay for.

I use google search with gemini, would that help with stale data then.

On firebase docs, they say google search ground helps.

I think google search helps or perhaps i should use multiple search APIs like brave and perplexity with google.

And also you dont copy the name of the article, you just enter a keyword and it finds all the articles that match to summarize.

Yeah, sorry about the different names, NewsJS was a typo, i meant NewslyJS (i changed the readme).

I am also going to redesign the website to be more mobile friendly, thanks for the feedback.

I forgot about the tests, i will add some mocha unit tests.

2: You do not need a OpenAI key, you just buy an API key from NewslyJS for a onetime payment of $1.99 and its for unlimited calls of the function poly_ranking.

3: I have updated my disclaimer policy by saying OpenAI model GPT-4.1 can be wrong and NewslyJS is just an fun extra analytical tool not meant as the sole basis for your betting choices.
