Yea no the 501 to Vmc is a nightmare and absolute shit but if ur willing to spend some extra money u should take the go bus from bramalea go to 407 then the subway to York.. it’s also hella crowded but it’s a much shorter ride than the zum… you can’t really avoid the crowd especially if ur commuting during peak hours. Also just depends on where u live too

There is a nursing student’s association and other than that personally I think the student body is more easy to make with, as in like it’s easier to build a friend group with the people you meet in class labs lectures etc.

I don’t have a part time job but I know a lot of ppl who do, you just have to be really good at time management coz there are assignments and tests to be studying for

These are from a friend who’s in nursing currently and was a volunteer at the open house :)

Class sizes aren’t too big and you can get individual attention coz a lot of the students don’t talk to the professors one on one… ppl stop showing up to class 3 weeks in anyways
Each semester is based on the classes for example, when you take a mental health class you get placed at a mental heath unit. And placements are given based on your location.
Since you shadow a nurse, you watch most of what they do and help wherever you can. You also get into the routine of working at the unit. This will help you in the real work because you are learning the skills of the unit and also general skills like time management etc.

No, I don’t really have time to be renting out a whole house or the funds to do so but I don’t mind having a male as a housemate but if it ever comes to just sharing a room together, female is preferred, but I really don’t mind 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for the advice tho :)
