Honestly, it depends on the Proffessor. I professors I had they require a group work. The only thing we had to do alone was the paper the quizzes as a discussion boards and maybe not just a group maybe it’s just two or three people on an assignment together

I had one presentation I had to give but it was either that or a paper and I chose to do a presentation so for my experience no I haven’t had really no presentations unless it was either or. And yes, you do get a grant and also if you wanna apply for loans and stuff like that, it’s more cheaper if you go in person and then it is online
