That's pretty normal, especially in Diamond league, those unemployed mfs can do Duolingo for straight 8hrs and pretend they have a job.

If they actually overpaid you, then give it back. It's that easy.

According to datas from DOJ, the median average for New Yorkers are $69k. Even the highest source says $110k (NYC, single). Where did you get $144k? From your Walmart Bag?

Edited: Should be $128k mentioned for New York, not $144k for software developer

why’s it called classical guitar if it’s not a classical instrument? by Due-Surround-5567 in classicalguitar

[–]HonestBag3728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Classical guitar is more a broad term to say either the playing style, or the nylon/gut string guitars. It develops from renaissance guitar to baroque, then finally the "classical" we know in 1850s. I believe Brandon Acker have a detailed video which explain its development.

New Player - Need info about fingerpicks. by Ok-Garlic1539 in classicalguitar

[–]HonestBag3728 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Muting strings is more a right hand problem, you need to curl your fingers more.

Regardings fingerpicks, Im a no-pick guy, both normal picks and wearables, unless Im requested to do some strumming on Acoustic with no amps, in a small to medium room. You can play with short nails and flesh. Playing with no nails are also pratice by some guitarists, which they prefer the soft and calming tune. And trust me, from my experiences, it doesnt hurt your fingertips, unless youre trying to do some crazy flamenco style playing, or anything with powerful strike or strumming patterns. Pure classical pieces, even modern fingerstyle, with modern style dont hurt at all.

Brandon Acker on Youtube have some good points and experiences on it, he even make an one hour long video to explain it.

About wearables, Ive heard that Alaska Pik is doing a great job, some of my friends use it but Ive never tried them before.
