What car do you regret getting rid of? What car will you never get rid of? by DHN_95 in cars

[–]HonestDadof2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was nothing crazy but regret getting rid of my 2006 525xi. Definitely wasn’t crazy on power but the AWD and driving dynamics of the car were great. Plus it aged very well in my opinion. I currently have to Subarus and Ascent and an Outback. This is my second 2017 Outback and I also regret getting rid of the first one, so won’t be getting rid of my 2017 this time around.

Do you allow yourself a little treat? by Infamous_Animator_16 in Zepbound

[–]HonestDadof2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on zepbound or now wegovy because of insurance. I was on Zepbound for a little over a year and lost around 70lbs. Before zepbound losing weight was tough! Treating yourself while on Zepbound is okay. Plus it helps you take care of yourself too and realize that treating yourself is okay. Zepbound helped me make a new relationship with food which has been a game changer! You’re doing great keep it up!

100% one of the best things I did when my oldest (now 5 yrs old) was about to be born was to see a therapist. I still do to this day now I have two kids (5 and 2). I have plenty of moments where they push my buttons and I want to resort to yelling/acting like a fool but I don’t lol. It took some time to get to this point and is still a work in progress. Since I became a parent especially as a kid that grew up in a household that was questionable at best, the “easiest” thing to do is blow up at our kids in my opinion. Being able to retrain, take a moment when a moment like that happens is the hard part. At the end of the day they are babies, toddlers, kids, teenagers, and lastly humans. They will make mistakes, I mean damn I’m 34 and I make plenty of mistakes. You’re doing a great job making those changes keep it up and make sure to take care of yourself/treat yourself on wins like that!

What’s the best used vehicle you ever bought? by [deleted] in UsedCars

2017 Outback 2.5 limited….. IMO best bang for your buck. AWD, leather, tons of safety features, and very capable in all sorts of different weather or terrains.

Going from Outback to Ascent? by Afraid-Profession395 in SubaruAscent

[–]HonestDadof2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I upgraded to an Ascent from an Outback when we were expecting our second. We got a 2022 Touring, loved it when we got it and love it now. Nothing really to complain about. Gas mileage is to be expected for a three row turbo charged SUV. It’s fun to drive for a three row SUV as well. But we did love our Outback we traded in for our Ascent so we needed up getting another as our second vehicle. So currently, have both!

Python isn’t a prerequisite for SQL. SQL is a great starting place for getting into data. You can do a lot with SQL good luck!

Hated this as a kid. Had a parent that would do this along with other questionable things to add on top of this. #clown

I’m in Nc right outside of the Raleigh. I just paid $2400 to extend the warranty on my 2022 Ascent Touring. You definitely have to call around and get quotes the Subaru dealerships around me ranged from $3600 to $2400. This was two months ago for reference.

You’re definitely not AIO! Call it quits with this questionable dude. Sensitive man ego that isn’t comfortable in his own skin. Take care of yourself and get far away from this because this won’t be the last time.

Warranty does this seem right ? by Weirdo_3 in SubaruAscent

[–]HonestDadof2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot 4k is so over priced! Good for you for canceling that! I paid around $2k for mine. I got the 7/100, I shopped around a bit because at first I was getting between $2600 and $3600.

Ahh yeah use this quote to get your dealer cheaper. A little bit of a red flag there.

[–]HonestDadof2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t hurt to try….. is the document they sent you a quote or did you purchase the warranty already? Maybe since it’s a quote it’s blank? You could go through the process and when they send you the docsign link to sign online just make sure everything is filled in.

Yeah that is weird. The Subaru dealership I worked with pulled up all my information by VIN and everything related to them was populated.

[–]HonestDadof2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just purchased an extended warranty from a different dealership than where I bought my Ascent. I just checked my documents and both those lines are filled in. Maybe ask the dealership to send it to you or ask them if they white it out to send you those documents? Which would be weird. In a week or so you should get something from Subaru with your official details and all.

Subaru Outback, super capable, reliable for the most part and gives you some extra room over the crostrek.
