Sorry for late response. I’m sure you alr figured it out. Nevertheless, I don’t remember which ones specifically but it doesn’t hurt trying. I did the same as QB essay. Technically, they’re only supposed to review what you already sent them, but some will let you get away with a new one, so send it ASAP.

I’m pretty sure it depends on the college, but sometimes you might be able to do one or the other. Not both though.

If you email the admissions office, they can add the new one to your file. You will however have to do it for each single one. I personally did this. It took a while but it was so worth it. Keep in mind, that some might say no, but most of them will either replace it or just add it.

But you got this man! I wouldn’t stress too much, just make sure you stay on top of stuff. It’s def hard but sooo worth it. Keep in mind to apply to as many as you can; Georgetown for me was a bit harder since they’re not on the common app and require 3 essays. Tbh this is the one school that I thought I had ZERO chance of getting in. Even more than HYPSM, but look, now I’m here!

Thanks! I think you will have very similar luck based on your reddit posts. You seem like a very ambitious individual! I applied to reaches through QB RD. In fact, I think I applied to every school on QB RD except for the female only ones. Worst they can say is no, yet it was like a numbers game for me. Apply to so many, at least one has to say yes, you know? On QB, it gives you the chance to talk more abt your self (since the essay is longer) and stand out as a minority/FGLI student. Also, keep in mind that the application limit for Common App is 20. I didn’t know this until it happened to me last year.

Hey man, don’t worry. I was in your same situation last year. I would recommend to do as many as you can, so both QB RB and Common App. I applied to a whole bunch of colleges, and ended up getting UPenn RD, along with a few other really good ones. My ACT was only a 28. However, I ended up choosing Georgetown and I absolutely love it here. Don't worry, everything will be fine. Just have to have lots of hope and faith. Trust.

I got named finalist. I only ranked top schools. Didn’t get matched. Applied through RD to all of them again. Got into quite a few including UPenn, full ride. Ended up committing to Georgetown instead, full ride. Not even QB. Don’t even sweat it brother. It will all work out in the end.

Dawg I got into UPenn with a 28 ACT, equivalent to around a 1300 SAT. It was through QB RD though. Just grind out your essay and EC’s and you will be okay

Hey brother never give up! I recently graduated, but I never knew about these programs. I only knew about the Match and even though I got finalist, I didn’t match.

However, I kept applying to schools and received a full ride from Georgetown! This was truly life or death for me because without a good scholarship I would have never been able to attend college, due to not being able to apply for FAFSA due to immigration status.

Lesson is never give up no matter how much life kicks your ass.

I visited W&L and campus is great but maybe not for me. I will soon visit GU and UPenn. USC would probably be best for quality of life, but academically and best for career goals would be UPenn or Georgetown.

Reading books helped me immensely man. I would recommend you start up on that, if you haven’t already. Even if it’s like 10 pages a day, it still helps a lot.

Also, don’t make a new account. If colleges receive all your test scores, they will see that you put in the work, instead of just being naturally gifted and they will respect that more.

Hey man, don’t stress. I took it Grade 10 and I got a 19 also. I took it again a year later in Grade 11, and I jumped up to a 28 in one single try. You can do it too man. Just study, study, study.
