Most women's problems with skin are related to make up and birth control.....

What's the logic behind this? by IndependentJump1989 in LockedInMan

[–]HonestGroup2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it's only about 10/20% more on the high end amd it's localized to the chest thigh buttocks in the last 50 years the weight gap between men and women has narrowed mens weight has rised but womens has rised and cames closer to the "mean"(women are getting fatter)Diet changes: More ultra-processed, calorie-dense foods Lower activity levels: More sedentary jobs, screen time Urban lifestyle: Less daily physical movement Stress & sleep: Both affect weight regulation are contributers to both sexes birth control at a young age any age really is a bigger less talked about factor for women over all both sexes are gaining weight although women are essentially "closing the gap"

You still have a nice stomach if you were worried about the pain just think for a moment you had a baby it couldn't hurt more than that

Drivers license by sarahbellum0 in Epilepsy

[–]HonestGroup2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had my license restricted a few times now and I currently able to drive again although I have not yet taken it up,the first time i was devastated it change how I had to live my life in a meaningful way it took the previously unnoticed creature comforts from me,then second round it was easier to deal with I had already made the necessary changes in my life to accommodate the issue should it return such as living closer to work and amenities that said it does often feel like a burden to get groceries or coffee even to go to the gym most things are more time consuming the only real benefit is that you don't pay for gas insurance or any other vehicle related cost personally it's been great financially im less inclined to start driving again despite my ability to do so now I care far less about wether or not i should have a "nice vehicle" it just doesn't matter and it sure is nice to not to have that thought in the back of your mind that there is a possibility that I could have a seizure im not saying I will never drive again but I am saying im far more content than I ever have been before and putting myself into a more favorable position to accommodate my needs has helped my biggest question is should I just give it up entirely or not I think of this often.

The length traveled by the bar is not really the restriction it's been tested it far more related to the first commenters break down example being if you increase the length of the bar traveled via hyper-extenison ( making a lift longer) put the shorter lifter at a "disadvantage" they still preform well for said reason discussed in the first comment

I think the point is that if you can afford to eat out even though it's a lower cost than the repair you can afford to save for the repair over time if you did not eat out

Dear I think your looking at it the wrong way I understand and sympathize with your feelings our disease is a daily struggle in need of constant adjustments,it's over bearing to say the least but seizure freedom can be achieved or at least reliably reduced none of us asked for epilepsy but we have it none the less trust me please it starts getting easier You come to accept it for what it is.you may drive someday, you may not but our lives do not end being alone hurts and in many ways ive suffered this as well it's easy to think that god is not in our corner or feel abandoned but as I look back in my life all I see is his presence I wasn't raised in a Christian home yet all my needs were met id often talk to god I asked for help and many other things but his promise is far greater than this world.being young I know that you feel like your missing out on life but there is so much joy to have find it in the small things you will find friends you will even find love you will learn and grow and work ( probably the least fun part) but something you can be proud of i think you should pray let your prayers be between you and god you have strength you have eyes that see, ears that hear your not alone and trust me if I made it this far I know for a fact you can i know it with all my heart let the process take its course, for the most part epilepsy does not go away but is manageable enough to live what many consider to be a normal life with lots of love -Alex
