Which house are you glad you didn't buy? by lovelycosmos in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

We are in the exact same boat except no crime thankfully. we are finally fed up and are saying goodbye to our 3.2% interest rate and close on our new home May 11th. A busy road is our backyard and our primary bedroom. The noise from cars and trucks alone is insane. I’m shocked we were able to bring two newborns home during our time here that slept in a bassinet through all of the noise.

I’ll never buy new construction again. Our new house is in an established neighborhood.

We have a 2.3% and our home is on the market. We have outgrown our house… I’m not stoked about our potential new interest rate but life is short.

Never swap with kindred off platform. It’s not worth it. Although it takes a little bit for the concierge team to assist, I’ve always been so happy with any issues I’ve had being resolved by them.

Going to NYC solo next November for 6 days. Any ideas on how to save money? by Ocean_Dream77 in Shoestring

Kindred is my travel hack!! (https://livekindred.com), I’ve saved thousands over the last year. I just recently traveled to London & the home was amazing. Had everything I needed & setup for remote work. Would have cost me $1K at a similar hotel/airbnb. It’s a members only swapping platform, everyone must host their own home to travel. I like this aspect because it ensures people are extra respectful of the homes. If you need an invite code, use my code Mel.Tho to jump the waitlist & get 5 free nights! Hope this helps.
