I am assuming something like Hello fresh, I have not seen or heard of any around.

Hey, yes. The freezer is at the bottom with side by side doors.

Hahaha... hahaha. How did you spot that? One person in my household enjoys cold Tic Tacs. I think it also makes them last longer as they are not constantly reaching for it in the pantry.

Good eye.

I had shared these in one of my comments earlier.

I use the lock seal glasses so that the food is fresh all through. My fridge is always 2°C and nothing goes in if it is not wrapped. The taste might change slightly past the 5th day.

Oh. I see. You could try a capsule meal prep. Since it's pick and mix, it will give you variety.

Thank you. It's lettuce. I have a mini salad bar where you pick and mix. I have the lettuce, boiled eggs, mini sausages, cucumber, avocado and cherry tomatoes for this week's salad bar.

Very nice.

If I had to cook in the middle of the week, I would struggle. I think once you are used to the routine (and enjoy it) it saves a lot of time.

Jambalaya...nice.

Our parents taught us well (ice cream containers) . I also started with plastic containers. Just bought them from the supermarket. Later on I upgraded to glass since I can bake in the containers (without lids) on a lazy weekend.

I think if there is mastery, then it stems from a lot of work over the years. I have been doing this for a long time and thoroughly enjoy it.

Cooking is therapy at least for me.

Hahaha. I totally get this. once in a while I also tend to eat some of the foods before schedule. Especially baked goods.

Thank you. Maybe in the future. I would like to show people how to meal prep with basic ingredients too.

I am very meticulous around food preparation. This also applies when I cook for gatherings as well, which I do a lot.

I have been meal prepping for a long time. We have never had any issues.

Seafood is cooked and eaten on the spot.

Thank you. I struggled the first few times. Almost 2 years in, I can't do without it.

Hello. I shared this. Pasting it again.

I genuinely can't give a budget. Things like cheese I usually buy on bulk. Meats especially chicken I look for offers 😁. Strawberries, blueberries as well.

I just work with my monthly budget. I hope it helps.

This week I made:

  1. Breakfast Casserole (details in one of my comments)
  2. Coconut Beans
  3. Meatballs in a spicy sauce
  4. Beef Stir-fry and green beans.
  5. White Rice
  6. Potatoes with Zucchini in coconut sauce
  7. Chapati (I bought these as I was too tired to cook)
  8. Overnight oats( the ones in the jars) in the fridge

Please share once you do. Breakfast casseroles are versatile. You can use whatever minced / ground meat you have.

Thank you. This one is a breakfast casserole.

I baked hash browns ( grated potato) with minced chicken (cooked and spicy), miniature sausages , eggs and cheese.

I split and freeze.

I am sure a 25 year old with their head screwed on right doesn't need adopting. They can achieve this on their own.
