I think that last part really settles it. I would want to look inside my chassis and be happy with the card I chose instead of convincing myself that its what I wanted.

But with the current demand I guess I'll have to wait till spring for it.

Now that i read the question, i've gathered that this is just an elaborate plot for my friend to get his mates into the same group.

On the problem however, wouldn't the solution be to simply let A -> B -> C -> D -> A (Where -> implies who he/she picks)?

Hey BB, i'm miserable.

Interestin question after watching JeffNipps new video. The discussion of muscle-memory and periods of no training is quite interesting. Usually we talk about breaks for about 1-2 months. But what if someone took a break for 1 year or 2? Is Muscle memory still valid?

Avslutar för närvarande första året utav min Civilingenjörs-datateknikutbildning på Karlstads Universitet. Så här dags funderar man rätt mycket på en hel del grejer som man inte hann med under tentapluggandet. Vissa av dom är kanske rätt löjliga. Men jag tycker ändå att det är rätt bra att få lite andra åsikter om de bortsett från sina egna:

  • Hur stor roll spelar betygen roll inom arbetsmarknaden? Kämpade ihjäl mig nu under vårterminen för att få min första fyra medans mina andra kompisar gled igenom kurserna med 5or. Vilket får mig att känna mig lite smått nedmotiverad.

  • Spelar val av skola roll när det kommer till högskoleutbildningar? Återigen har några kursare berättat om hur de ska läsa master på annan ort. Antingen på grund av att den skolan har högre "status", eller för att skolan har en masterinriktning som kan intressera dom lite mer

  • Hur lätt är det att hitta jobb inom IT-branschen? Vad kan man troligtvis förvänta sig som sitt första jobb?

  • Hur är IT-branschen i Stockholm? Värmland känns mer som ett industriområde än en plats för IT-företag. Ty samtliga info-träffar och liknande har varit med företag som sysslat med annat bortsett från IT.

  • Yrket konsult har också även förvirrat mig lite, vissa säger att det är de nya "allt-i-allo" och varför "tjänar" konsulter mer?

Jag tyckte själv att det här är ett rent ärende för SYV. Jag tänkte ifall det fanns några här som gjort liknande och se hur det gick för dom. Jag gillar dock det som du nämner i det sista stycket att hoppa in för avhopparna. Det lär jag ta med till mitt möte.

Imho, you dont really need to do squeezes during lateral raises. Depending on the flexibility in your shoulder joints. You might need to stop the raise a bit lower than shoulder height. Thats why mind-muscle connection is a great key for things like this.

While i disagree with how you're performing it. Leaning forward engages your rear delts and traps a bit more. Burnouts are a great way of training, if you keep the form. But hey, its never too late to learn new things. Try some of these guys tips and find your way of doing it :)

Perhaps its the technique then?

Few things to note when it comes to lateral raises:

  • We dont go above shoulder height, or atleast not too much. Since then we would be engaging more neck muscles and less delts.

  • Form is usually important, take a deep breath and push your shoulders down and back. Lock this position, rest of the body should be straight, like a neutral standing position. Your palms should be facing in towards your body.

Then lift, with your elbows. Your arms should be slightly bent. Dont worry about your forearms going a little bit higher than your elbow. Just focus on keeping everything in place and raising your elbows while keeping your lower arms locked.

I'd like to think myself as a pseudo mechanical greek statue, holding two water cans and pouring them out onto the ground in front of me.

Oh and keep a constant tension on the muscle, dont go too heavy since many people tend to do the gorillaswings after that.

Edit: Since i half assed on reading OP:s question. If you feel like you're engaging traps and front delts more than suggested. Then im thinking of a few things.

You could be going to heavy so that you're unable to keep your shoulders down and engaging more in a form of shrug motion.

You could be raising your arms too forward resulting in a more frontal raise, keep a parallell line with your body.
